Argument leads to arrest on assault charge A Loudon man is facing an aggravated domestic assault charge after law enforcement learned he pulled a gun on someone during an argument. Answering an aggravated domestic call on Highway 72, LCSO Deputy JC Schultz and Cpl. Rondel Branam made contact with a man and woman, who both gave written statements that Billy Gene Seward, 41, was damaging vehicles so neither of them could drive. The woman stated Seward pushed the man up against a counter, at which point she came between the two. Mr. Billy Seward then went to his truck and retrieved a Springfield XD .45 caliber semi automatic pistol and pointed the weapon at (the man) and chased him out of the residence yelling, Im going to shoot you if you dont leave! (The woman) then called 911. Upon arrival, Branam retried Sewards weapon. Seward admitted to drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana earlier in the day, according to the report. Seward said the man pulled a knife on him during the argument. Seward was charged with aggravated domestic assault and released on $5,000 bond. Two Maryville women arrested in cemetery
Noticing a white Toyota Corolla parked in a cemetery at 1 a.m. March
14 with three occupants, LCSO Deputy Blake Garland talked with Cora
Lynn McCulloch, Mellisa Ann Downey and another woman.
Ms. McCulloch stated she had to give her mother, Ms. Downey, an
insulin shot for her blood sugar, Garland wrote in his report.
When asked why they were in the cemetery at this hour of the night,
Ms. Downey stated she was showing them the area. McCulloch later
told Garland, while away from the others, that Downey was using
heroin. A K-9 was brought on scene and alerted deputies of narcotics
in the vehicle.
After searching the vehicle, law enforcement found several
syringes, three spoons with residue believed to be from narcotics
and small baggies with a white powdery substance.
McCulloch, 21, was charged with a Blount County warrant and released
without bond. Downey, 49, was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia and released on $2,000 bond.
March 13
Kaytlynn Violet Degroodt, 23, Madisonville, was charged with
aggravated burglary and theft of property and released on $30,000
bond.
Justin Brian Lawson, 26, Lenoir City, was charged with domestic
assault-misdemeneanor and released on $2,000 bond.
Chastity Alice Marlow, 28, Madisonville, was charged with contempt
of court and violation of probation and held on $150 bond.
Jeremiah Eli Higgins, 24, Greenback, was charged with aggravated
burglary, theft of property, possession of drug paraphernalia,
manufacture, sell, delivery and resale of a Schedule II substance,
manufacture, sell, delivery and resale of a Schedule IV substance
and simple possession/casual exchange and held on $72,000 bond.
After giving consent to search a vehicle, law enforcement found two
bags containing 9.5 grams of a crystal substance believed to be
methamphetamine, three glass pipes commonly used for smoking meth
and three syringes in a gray zip-up bag in the front passenger seat.
Officers also found three spoons with residue, two syringes and a
shoelace used as a tourniquet in a black box inside the vehicle. The
crystal-like substance came back as positive for meth. Officers also
found 21 pills identified as Alprazolam, 1 1/2 pills identified as
Suboxone and one bag containing .1 gram of crystal methamphetamine.

Gary Lewis Fogleman, 56, Mascot, was charged with driving under
the influence and open container and released on $1,500 bond.
Steve Ryan Fuller, 21, Franklin, was charged with driving under
the influence and released without bond.
Laura Suzzanna Glandon, 28, Athens, was charged with contempt of
court and released on $1,000 bond.
Charles Rondale Jones, 37, Sweetwater, was charged with failure to
appear and released on $17,000 bond.
Brittany Rachelle Letner, 24, Lenoir City, was charged with
failure to appear and released on $1,000 bond.
Kaitlyn Frances McCracken, 23, Sweetwater, was charged with two
counts of violation of probation and released on $5,000 bond.
March 15
Paul James Bovard, 30, Lenoir City, was charged with violation of
probation and held without bond.
Oscar Galeana Eugenio, 27, Loudon, was charged with driving under
the influence and released without bond.
Martha Jane Hastings, 33, Kingston, was charged with theft of
property and released on $1,000 bond.
March 16
Christopher Ryan Goins, 27, Maryville, was charged with theft
under $500 and released on $3,000 bond.
Cletis Eugene McCurry, 50, Lenoir City, was charged with public
intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.
Dandy Guzman Mejia, 21, Loudon, was charged with violation of
probation and released on $4,000 bond.
Bryan Allen Mullins, 22, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to
appear-general sessions and released on $2,000 bond.
Darrell Glen Russell, 58, Loudon, was charged with simple assault
and released on $1,000 bond. After responding to a call of a fight
on Steekee Road, LCSO Deputy JC Schultz noticed a maroon sport
utility vehicle trying to leave the residence. Schultz stopped the
vehicle, and an intoxicated male identified as Russell got out of
the vehicle and told Schultz there was no physical contact with a
man he had been arguing with earlier. There was grass and debris
all over Mr. Russells clothing and some injuries on his arm,
Schultz wrote in his report. A man told Schultz that he and another
man were "verbally arguing over a transmission when Mr. Darrell
Russell came over and sucker punched him, then they rolled around on
the ground and Mr. Russell choked him. Russell later said he
wasnt going to let (the man) assault (the other man) who was a
older gentleman.
Sharon Treadway, 26, Harriman, was charged with theft under $500
and released on $1,000 bond.
March 17
David Dean Hardy, 30, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to
appear-general sessions and held without bond.
Candace Dione Hernandez, 37, Greenback, was charged with failure
to appear and released on $1,000 bond.
Ethan Cord Webb, 26, Decatur, was charged with violation of
probation and held without bond.
Estuardo Heberto Cardona, 46, Lenoir City, was charged with
forgery, identity theft and driving on a revoked/suspended license
and held without bond. Tennessee Highway Patrol Identity Crimes Unit
Trooper Jonathan Scott received word that a resident from Florida
claimed someone stole his identity. After investigating the matter,
Cardona was determined to be using the mans identity to obtain
employment and benefits to give to a local employer and BlueCross
BlueShield of Tennessee. As a result of Cardonas forgery, BCBST
has paid $5,948.24 in fraudulent claims under the stolen identity of
(the man).
Jeffrey Allan Holcomb, 35, Tellico Plains, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and held on $2,000 bond.
Kesha Arleen Johnkins, 37, Nashville, was charged with theft under
$500 and released on $2,000 bond.
Jose Martin Rodriguez, 25, Philadelphia, was charged with
violation of probation and held without bond.
March 18
Alfedo Lee Espinoza, 23, Loudon, was charged with simple
possession/casual exchange and possession of drug paraphernalia and
released on $2,000 bond.
Diedra Diniel Hammons, 24, Loudon, was charged with criminal
impersonation and possession of drug paraphernalia and held without
bond.
Clayton Gene Jarrard, 36, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to
appear and held without bond.
Thomas Joseph Townsend, 34, Loudon, was charged with failure to
appear and released on $1,000 bond.
James Jonathan Wood, 31, Vonore, was charged with public
intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.
March 19
Kathy Michelle Johnson, 32, Knoxville, was charged with theft
under $500 and held on $1,000 bond.
Michael Eugene Johnson, 23, Knoxville, was charged with possession
of methamphetamine and theft under $500 and held on $3,000 bond.
Zachery Allen Stroup, 22, Lenoir City, was charged with driving
under the influence and held without bond.

Matthew Grant Cranford, 32, Knoxville, was charged with two counts
of contraband in a penal institution and driving under the influence
and held without bond.
John Carl Fitch, 42, Knoxville, was charged with driving under the
influence and held without bond.
Russell Junior Thomas Jr., 44, Auburn, Ind., was charged with
disorderly conduct and public intoxication and held on $6,000 bond.
