Last week I told you about the appeals process if you want to depute your current property appraisal. Coincidentally, Blount County and Monroe County have just completed their reappraisals and apparently the new property values have gone sky high. This is not the case in Loudon County. Our next reappraisal cycle will come in 2026.

With the new high reappraisals in Blount and Monroe, some had asked if we were about to see the same thing. Thank goodness, not for now.

It will be interesting to see what Blount and Monroe do with their property tax rate.
