| Former Loudon County Road Superintendent, Sean Giles,
has qualified to run for the County Road Superintendent job again in the
May primary election. Giles will be challenging incumbent Road
Superintendent, Eddie Simpson. Giles held that
position from 2006-2010 when he lost to current County Road
Superintendent, Eddie Simpson, in a three man race in 2010. Giles
challenged Simpson for the job in 2014 but lost to Simpson again.
Candidates have till noon, February 15th to qualify to
seek office in the May primary election.
