Alcoa man charged with killing missing Maryville man ALCOA, Tenn. (WATE) - An Alcoa man faces a homicide charge in the death of a Maryville man whose body was found in Loudon County on July 28. John Edward Gauthier, 40, is charged in the death of Robert Shultz, 49. Shultz was reported missing to Maryville police and was last seen on the morning of July 24. His cellphone and truck were found on July 27 at two separate locations in Loudon County. He was found dead on Friendsville Road in Loudon County. According to Alcoa police, autopsy results and witness interviews led detectives to Gauthier. |
