A Roane County man has been indicted in the death of a Loudon woman.

roanecounty.com-Carl Dustin Bryant, 34, is charged with second-degree. The alleged victim in the case is Stephanie Hill. She died on March 23.

The Roane County Grand Jury indicted Bryant on Oct. 21. The indictment alleges Bryant unlawfully distributed Hill a Schedule I drug that was the proximate cause of her death.

Court records list Bryant’s address as 250 Frost Hollow Road, Harriman. He was booked into the Roane County Jail on the second-degree murder charge on Oct. 29. He was still in custody at press time.

Hill was 32. She attended Roane County High School and loved animals and flowers, according to her obituary.
