5 in Lenoir City arrested in drug bust

Five Lenoir City residents were arrested June 24 after a drug bust by the 9th Judicial Drug Task Force.

DTF agents found Randy Dean Dattilio, 65, Stacey Eugene Branson, 52, Kristian Nicole Hatcher, 34, James Martin Kennedy, 37, and Ginger Gail Neely, 53, at a residence on Turman Drive after executing a narcotics search warrant, DTF agent Cody Fritts wrote in a report.

In the room Dattilio and Hatcher were occupying, agents found a small purse on Dattilio’s bed containing a bag of 0.5 grams of methamphetamine and a bag of 0.5 grams of heroin. Thirty-one yellow capsules identified as gabapentin were found in one of Dattilio’s shirt pockets hanging up in his room. Agents also found multiples baggies, digital scales, meth pipes and syringes, Fritts wrote in a report.
Branson and Neely were found in a bedroom with a bottle on the dresser containing 3.5 grams of “white powder heroin/fentanyl, a bowl with 1 gram of orange powder heroin/fentanyl and 11 yellow capsules identified as gabapentin,” Fritts wrote in a report. Agents also found syringes, baggies, cut straws, a glass pipe and two baggies of unidentified powder in the bedroom. Agents found baggies, syringes and an “aluminum can bottom with cotton filters” next to the recliner where Kennedy was sleeping.
After transported to the Loudon County Jail, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Brad McCall noticed what appeared to be drugs in the transport van. DTF agent Branden DeBoer tested the substances, which came back as positive for meth and fentanyl.
