County Sheriff’s deputies prepare for overseas deployment LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — In the next few months, three Loudon County Sheriff’s deputies will be deploying overseas with the Tennessee Army National Guard.
On Thursday, the sheriff’s
office posted on Facebook to recognize the deputies and bid them
farewell.
According to the sheriff’s office, Chief Deputy Zac Frye, Sergeant Detective Shane Gaumer and Deputy Bo Jones will be deploying with the Tennessee Army National Guard’s 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment in the next few months for a nine-month deployment in support of operations in the Middle East. “These deputies have shown unwavering dedication not only in their duties protecting our community but also in their commitment to serve our country” said Sheriff Jimmy Davis. “Their bravery and service inspire us all, and we stand united in support of their mission.” The sheriff’s office added that it is looking forward to their safe return and thanked them for their sacrifice and service. |
