| Last week, the Tellico Village Property Owners
Association, filed liens against 34 village property owners. Apparently,
that many village property owners haven't paid their POA dues in a
while. The liens ranged from a few hundred dollars up to $20,000.00.
Filing a lien simply allows the POA to collect their back fees if and when the property owner sells their property. The current POA fee is $176.24 per month. Beginning October, home owners will also be required to pay an additional $80.00 fee, per month, water surcharge. |
