300 grams of mushrooms found at local residence
A Lenoir City couple is facing drug charges after law
enforcement conducted a search warrant on Rogers Circle.
Agents from the 9th Judicial District Drug Task Force,
Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Bureau of
Investigation and Lenoir City Police Department on Oct. 6
searched inside the residence of Patricia Ann Stinnett, 35,
and Steve Allen Stinnett, 35, during an open narcotics
investigation.
While searching, agents found a glass aquarium on the
kitchen counter that had “several large hallucinogenic
mushrooms” growing inside.
“Several bags of dried mushrooms were also located in
the ottoman in the living room of the residence,” April
Farmer, DTF agent, wrote in a report. “Agents also
located numerous sealed glass jars with fertilizer and
mushroom spores in the kitchen area of the residence.
The total weight of the mushrooms was approximately 312
grams.”
A 10 mg Opana pill was also found in Patricia Stinnett’s
purse.
“Agents have been conducting controlled purchases of
Opana pills from the residence and Ms. Stinnett stated
that she had purchased that pill for her husband’s
pain,” Farmer wrote in the report. “Also located
throughout the residence were several items used to aid
in the production of the mushrooms including but not
limited to more empty glass jars and fertilizer. Also
found was a set of digital scales and a metal pipe used
to smoke narcotics.”
The Stinnetts live at the residence with their
10-year-old child, according to the report.
Patricia Ann Stinnett was charged with manufacture,
sell, delivery, resale of a Schedule I substance,
manufacture, sell, delivery, resale of a Schedule II
substance, maintaining a dwelling where drugs are sold
and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $47,000
bond.
Steven Allen Stinnett was charged with manufacture,
sell, delivery, resale of a Schedule I substance,
possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a
dwelling where drugs are sold and held without bond.
Oct. 2
• Kristina Elizabeth Jones, 49, Philadelphia, was
charged with theft of property and held on $1,000 bond.
• Steven Lee Mcabee, 37, Knoxville, was charged with
violation of probation and held on $2,000 bond.
• Kinzie Renee Mcgrail, 27, Niota, was charged with
failure to appear and released on $2,000 bond.
• William James Shubert, 26, Lenoir City, was charged
with theft of property and theft and released on $3,000
bond.
• Donald Ray Starritt, 62, Loudon, was charged with
domestic assault-misdemeanor and driving on a
revoked/suspended license and held on $3,500 bond.
• Toby James Townson, 48, Lenoir City, was charged with
failure to appear-general sessions and released on
$2,000 bond.
Oct. 3
• Dalton Glenn Blevins, 21, Lenoir City, was charged
with violation of probation and held on $30,000 bond.
• Anna Mari Croce, 21, Knoxville, was charged with two
counts of simple possession/casual exchange and released
on $4,000 bond. Witnessing a white Toyota traveling east
on Highway 72 with a white light shining through the
brake light, Loudon Police Officer Anthony Akins stopped
the vehicle for violation of a light law. While speaking
to Croce, Akins noticed an odor of what he believed to
be marijuana. Croce told Akins there was nothing illegal
in her car. During a search, Akins found a black bag
that had a cigarette container with a plastic wrapper
holding a clear rock-like substance believed to be
methamphetamine weighing 0.1 grams. Also inside her
vehicle was a green leafy substance believed to be
marijuana weighing 0.1 grams.
• Jeannie Renee Franklin, 34, Athens, was charged with
driving under the influence and held on $2,500 bond.
• Franklin Delano Jeffries, 43, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving under the influence and released on $2,000
bond.
• Bradley Dwayne Russell, 33, Lenoir City, was charged
with violation of probation and possession of drug
paraphernalia and held on $31,000 bond.
Oct. 4
• Toby Large, 36, Kingston, was charged with driving on
a revoked/suspended license, possession of drug
paraphernalia and simple possession/casual exchange and
released on $6,000 bond.
• Angel Renea Plemons, 25, Loudon, was charged with
child neglect and held on $25,000 bond. Responding to
the call after neighbors located a 4-year-old girl
wandering on Corinth Church Road without supervision,
LCSO Inv. Charlie Cosner located the mother, Plemons,
unconscious on a couch inside the residence. Cosner
noted “several” attempts were made to wake Plemons. A
strong smell of alcohol emitted from Plemons, according
to the report. Plemons admitted to drinking five shots
of Fireball Whiskey prior to laying on the couch,
according to the report.
• Bradley Tyler Russell, 18, Lenoir City, was charged
with failure to appear and held on $10,000 bond.
• Christy Ann Whisenhunt, 36, Philadelphia, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and
possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $6,000
bond.
Oct. 5
• Cedric Fenton Boruff, 47, Loudon, was charged with
failure to appear-general sessions and held on $5,000
bond.
• Jacob Dennis Chosie, 34, St. Augustine, Fla., was
charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, theft $2,500
to $10,000 and theft $10,000 to $60,000 and held on
$80,000 bond.
• Erica Nicole Dunlap, 32, Lenoir City, was charged with
public intoxication and violation of probation and held
without bond.
• Juan M. Ervin, 47, Kingston, was charged with assault
and released on $2,000 bond.
• Ashley Nicole Mcalpin, 33, Philadelphia, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released
on $1,000 bond.
• Kenneth Ray Morgan, 25, Madisonville, was charged with
failure to appear-general sessions and released on
$4,000 bond.
• Chad Norris, 37, Sweetwater, was charged with driving
on a revoked/suspended license and held without bond.
• Zakery Bryan Russell, 22, Loudon, was charged with
violation of probation and released on $1,000 bond.
• Chaiden Allen Stevens, 18, Loudon, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and underage
consumption and released on $4,000 bond.

• Thomas Lance Brock, 35, Sweetwater, was charged with
vandalism and released on $1,500 bond.
• Jeremiah William Downs, 40, Lenoir City, was charged
with simple possession/casual exchange, contraband in a
penal institution, theft of property and a juvenile
attachment and held without bond.
• Lacy Diann Hicks, 29, Lenoir City, was charged
with a Knox County warrant and released without
bond.
• Shawn Patrick Miller, 31, Loudon, was charged with
warrants out of Roane and Knox counties and released
without bond.
• Richard David Byrd, 63, Lenoir City, was charged
with public intoxication and released without bond.
• Jessie Dewayne Duncan, 28, Briceville, was charged
with theft of property and held on $5,000 bond.
• Garry Wendell Godsey, 60, Rockwood, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and held
on $3,000 bond.
• Sean Maleki Hughley, 27, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving under the influence and held without
bond.
• Joel Hamilton Lynn, 31, Philadelphia, was charged
with manufacture, delivery, sale, possession of a
Schedule II substance and possession of drug
paraphernalia and held without bond. Observing a
2002 Lexus fail to come to a complete halt at a stop
sign at the corner of Nelson and McCrary streets in
Philadelphia, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Inv.
Jamie Ketner made contact with the driver. Ketner
noted he knew the driver, Timothy B Grisson, did not
have a valid license. The passenger, Lynn, reached
between the passenger seat and driver side door and
was “nervous,” according to the report. “During the
conversation with the occupants of the vehicle Mr.
Lynn rolled down his window,” Ketner wrote in the
report, adding another deputy arrived on scene
shortly thereafter. Grissom was asked to step out of
the vehicle, and Ketner was allowed to search of the
vehicle. He noticed plastic that had a crystal-like
substance believed to be methamphetamine, which
after weighing totalled 1.8 grams. In the backseat
Ketner found two sets of digital scales with residue
on them and seven needles that no one claimed
ownership. Grissom was warned about the stop sign
and given a drug paraphernalia citation.
• John Allen Sentell, 40, Loudon, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia and held without
bond.
Oct. 7
• Heather Nicole Johnson, 23, Lenoir City, was
charged with a juvenile attachment and domestic
assault-misdemeanor and held on $1,650 bond.
• Neil Anthony Martin, 43, Sweetwater, was charged
with theft of property and held on $2,000 bond.
• Jacob Austin Southall, 22, Oak Ridge, was charged
with failure to appear and held without bond.
Oct. 8
• James N. Chestnut, 29, Loudon, was charged with
driving under the influence and released on $1,500
bond.
• Sonny Douglas Downs, 32, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and
released on $1,000 bond.
• Matthew Scott Kelley, 43, Knoxville, was charged
with domestic assault-misdemeanor and held without
bond.
• Sonya Marisa Massingale, 40, Farner, was charged
with possession of a Schedule II substance and held
without bond.
Oct. 9
• Theodore Bell, 42, Knoxville, was charged with
violation of probation and held on $50,000 bond.
• Clayton Gene Jarrard, 37, Lenoir City, was charged
with violation of order of protection and simple
possession/casual exchange and held without bond.
