The developer is asking for a rezone to R-2 for the 17.39 acres of land. The property is currently zoned agricultural, A-1. An R-2 zone class would allow for two homes per acre while the A-1 only allows for minimum 5 acre lot.

The Loudon County Planning Commission has approved the rezone. It will now come to the county commission workshop Tuesday for discussion and a vote on February 3rd.
