Greenback (WATE) – Loudon County Dispatch confirms that the body of a 19-year-old man was recovered after a reported drowning Sunday afternoon in Greenback.

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office believes the incident was an accident.

According to the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, the 19-year-old man was swimming at the time. He went under and never resurfaced around 3 p.m. The body was recovered about an hour later.
