172 Final Approval

At last week's Lenoir City Planning Commission meeting, the members voted to approve the site plan for the The Villas at 321, 172 single family rental homes at the intersection of Hwy. 321 and Hwy. 70, the old Horne property.

The one major change from the original plan was the elimination of an access road from the development to Hwy 70 across from the entrance to the schools.

172 more rental properties going into the city, what could possibly be good for the city on this one? When the developer was asked if this project was being marketed to retires, he said no. This one will certainly be bring lots more children to the schools and lots more work for the police department.
