Zehner Lawsuit Continued
| Lawyers representing former Loudon County Election
Coordinator, Dana Zehner, were in court last week requesting a
continuance of her lawsuit. As I understand it, the lawyers are asking
that the case be postponed till certain questions surrounding the
dismissal of several election coordinators across the state is answered
by the state supreme court. Those questions are now making their way to
the high court. Zehner filed suit in July against the Loudon County Election Commission claiming she was dismissed from her position because of her political affiliation. Zehner's lawsuit asks for her job back and a half million dollars to boot. |
