Wounded At Resaca

Last week, did a little spot about Papa Wells, my great grandfather's pocket watch. This week, I'm going to do a rerun from a few years ago. This is a link to a little booklet I wrote about my great-great grandfather who served in the Civil War. His name was John A. Wells, Papa Wells father.

As some of you know, my favorite past time is metal detecting for Civil War relics. Several years ago, I got interested in researching information on my great-great grandfather who served in the Civil War. In 1993, after months of research, I was able to put together a very simple short booklet about my great-great grandfather's time in the war. He served in many areas and was severely wounded in a battle at a little village in Georgia called Resaca.
Pronounced Re-soc-a.

Accordingly, the title of the book is "Wounded At Resaca". Below is a link to the book. If you have an interest in the Civil War, you may enjoy my little book.
