Woman charged after trying to choke man

A Philadelphia woman was been charged with domestic assault following an argument with a man.

Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Dallas Hilton and another deputy arrived Oct. 18 at a residence in Philadelphia and spoke with Natasha D. Bibbins, 37, who said a man hit her in the lip.

Bibbins said she tried to wake the man to get him to go to work but he told her he could not go. The situation escalated from there, Bibbins said.
According to the report, Hilton inquired how the man hit Bibbins, but she said she couldn’t remember. Deputies saw a superficial tear on the inside of Bibbins’ lip.

Hilton then spoke with the man, who said Bibbins woke him and told him to get to work. He said he couldn’t go to work because his foot had been swollen for days.

The man said Bibbins became upset with him and began choking him. He told deputies Bibbins said she was going to kill him because he would not go to work and then punched him in the jaw. Hilton noted in his report some slight red marks on the left side of the man’s neck.

Hilton asked the man if he struck Bibbins. He said Bibbins might have been hit when he tried to get her off him.

Bibbins was determined to be the primary aggressor and was transported to the Loudon County Jail. She was charged with domestic assault and released on $1,500 bond.
