Bobby Lee Whitfield – age 81, of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

Bobby loved to fish and spend time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lil Whitfield;
brothers, Raymond, Roy, George, Jr., and John (Jay) Whitfield;
sister, Birdie Seay.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 63 ½ years, Patsy; sons, Jody (Becki), Gary (Lisa), and Steve (Jo Ann) Whitfield; daughter, Donna (Bill) Walden; brother, Rocky (Becki) Whitfield; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Bill Walden and Reverend Matt Caldwell officiating.

The family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Gov. John Sevier Highway for a graveside service and interment at 10 a.m. Military honors will be performed by the Tennessee Army National Guard.
