Two injured in personal watercraft crash on Tellico

Two people were injured this afternoon after their personal watercrafts crashed on Tellico Lake in Loudon County, according to central dispatch. About 2 p.m., authorities were called to the lake for the wreck. One of the men, who has not been identified, was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center by LifeStar. The other person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency responded to the accident. One man in hospital after jet ski crash in Loudon Co.

A jet ski crash on Fort Loudon Lake has put one man in the hospital. Officials are unclear as to how the crash actually happened. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, one man was unconscious in the water. He was flown to UT Hospital via Life Star. The other man was also transported to UT hospital, under non-emergency circumstances. Authorities have not been able to offer any names at this time. |
