Two dead after cars collide in Loudon Co.

Two people are dead and one is injured after an accident along US Highway 321 in Loudon County.

According to a release from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Autumn McGinley of Maryville was driving southbound on the highway close to 3:30 p.m. Phillip Pierson, 51, of Alcoa was driving northbound on the highway when Pierson hit McGinley's car causing both cars to hit the median.

Both McGinley and her passenger 62-year-old Linda Daugherty of Maryville were killed after the accident.

Pierson was injured after the crash.
