Traffic on the Fort Loudoun
Dam bridge is expected to be limited to one lane from
8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Tennessee
Valley Authority.
TVA spokesman Jim Hopson said work will be done to repair an expansion joint in the bridge.
“One lane will always be open, and we’ll have flaggers who will be allowing traffic in alternating directions to keep moving as best they can, but there are probably going to be backups in that area,” Hopson said.
The goal is to complete construction in one day, he said.
