LENOIR CITY (WATE) - A
Loudon County man's arm was severed Wednesday afternoon when he
fell from a tractor that ran over him.
The sheriff's office
identified the man as Lance Sharp, 58.
Officers responded to the
accident a little after 1:00 p.m. on Wheat Road.
Sharp was apparently
bush-hogging on the side of a hill leading down to a creek when
he ran under some low branches and fell off the tractor. His arm
was severed between his elbow and shoulder.
He was flown to UT Medical
Center.
Sharp already had a
prosthetic leg, according to the sheriff's office.
