Todd Wright resigns at Lenoir City

Lenoir City High School girls' basketball coach Todd Wright has stepped down after one season for personal reasons, according to athletic director Janet McGee.

Wright, who previously coach women's basketball at Maryville College for two seasons and at Oliver Springs High for six, led the Lady Panthers to a 14-13 (7-7 District 4-AAA) record this past season.

"He talked to us last night," said McGee, "and talked to the team today after finals."

"It was a good year. I think we're certainly better for having him for one year. ... We'll miss him."
