News Herald Arrest Report

Three jailed in task force drug bust

One Lenoir City and two Loudon residents are facing drug charges after law enforcement found them in the middle of drug sale.
Watching several individuals in a fast food restaurant on U.S. Highway 321 who appeared to be conducting “suspicious drug activity,” 9th Judicial District Drug Task Force agents identified Tiajuana Kell Easter-Older and Robert James Easter. Both had prior drug-related charges.

“Agents observed Tiajuana get out of a red sedan and get into a silver SUV,” April Farmer, DTF agent, wrote in a report. “Tiajuana then went back to the red sedan where she placed something in the car and then returned to the SUV.”

Agents approached both vehicles and arrested everyone. The sport utility vehicle driver was identified as Kimberly Dawn Dalton. Agents saw money in the front seat of the red sedan that Robert Easter was in, and determined all involved met to conduct an “illegal drug transaction.”

“Mr. and Mrs. Easter had just picked up a prescription of 120 1 mg Alprazolam at Walgreens pharmacy on Highway 321 in Lenoir City,” Farmer wrote in her report. “... A search of Ms. Dalton's property produced a plastic case that contained several blue pills identified as Alprazolam, a Schedule IV narcotic, which she had just purchased from Mrs. Easter.”

Dalton was also in possession of another pill, a Schedule II substance, which she did not have a prescription for, along with two cut straws used to snort drugs.

Robert Easter, 52, Loudon, was charged with criminal conspiracy and tampering/fabricating evidence and held on $40,000 bond.
