THEFT CASES SOLVED Loudon County Sheriff Tim Guider announced today the LCSO Criminal Investigations Unit has made an arrest and also recovered several thousands of dollars of construction equipment that was stolen from a Parkside Drive address in Knoxville. Eric Christopher Wolf, 40, address listed as Four Seasons Campground in Kingston, was arrested on Felony Theft charges (Theft over $10,000) on June 7th by Loudon County Investigators. Wolf had made arrangements to meet with someone in Loudon County to try to sell the items, which included approximately $40,000 worth of equipment and also and a trailer. Wolf was arrested without incident.
_____________________________________________________________ Sheriff Guider also announced that an April 29th theft on Sunnyside Road in Philadelphia, which involved several guns, was also solved by LCSO Investigators. Upon questioning by investigators, both William Martin Perkins, 27, of 12805 Sunnyside Road, and Richard Lee Thompson, 30, of 27800 Pond Creek Road (both of Philadelphia), confessed to the theft and also admitted to selling the weapons. Perkins and Thompson were arrested June 12th by LCSO Investigators and charged with Aggravated Burglary. |
