TBI cancels Endangered Child Alert for Rathbone
4-year-old; mother in custody By Mark Boxley of The Daily Times The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation canceled an Endangered Child Alert today for 4-year-old Travis Rathbone, who has been missing with his noncustodial mother since April 3. Travis and his mother, Vicki Rathbone, 37, Maryville, were located by authorities in Indiana. Vicki Rathbone has been taken into custody. Karole Potter, Rathbone's sister, told The Daily Times today, "She called me up and said they found her." Potter asked Rathbone where she was and Rathbone said she was at their mother's house in Indiana. Rathbone told Potter the authorities were "very nice" to her and let her hold Travis before taking him away; however, Rathbone told Potter she was uncertain of his whereabouts now. "That's more upsetting to her than being arrested," Potter said. |
