Tennessee Tax-Free Holidays
This year, the Tennessee General Assembly approved a three-month
tax-exempt holiday on groceries for all Tennessee residents.
Tennessee will also continue to have the traditional sales tax
weekend on clothes, school supplies, and computers.
The traditional sales tax weekend will occur the last weekend of July: Friday, July 28, 2023 - Sunday, July 30, 2023. The tax-free period for groceries will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023 - Tuesday, October 31, 2023. |
