| Suspect freed on bond in Loudon girlfriend's fatal
shooting LOUDON (WATE) -- The Loudon County man investigators say shot and killed his live-in girlfriend over the weekend bonded out of jail Monday. John Harvey, 25, was arraigned in court Monday morning on second degree murder charges, then posted a $75,000 bond. Deputies say Harvey shot Savannah McMahan, 21, in the abdomen on Saturday, after an argument. McMahan's mother broke down in tears several times during the arraignment. Harvey claims the shooting was an accident. His next court date is scheduled for April 2. |
