Steekee Stays
| That seems to be the general consensus of a number of Loudon County School Board members. After posting the story of county schools director, Edward Heedlee's recommendation to consider closing Steekee Elementary, I heard from a number of board members who stated that they would not vote to close the school. Most members I heard from seemed surprised by Heedlee's recommendation. So for now it would appear the Steekee will remain an important part of the county education system. |
