Spam Texts Now?

I'm not sure who's running their campaigns, but apparently whoever it is is trying their best to find as many ways as possible to upset voters.

First it was mass mailers for Eddie Simpson, Mark Matlock and Julia Hurley filled with out right lies, paid for by The Building Industry Political Action Committee. Then it was a mass mailer from the multi-millionaire bad mouthing the entire county, the school system and the Loudon County Fire rescue. Now it's spam texts?

One day last week, I received several complaints from folks who got spam texts supporting Eddie Simpson and Julia Hurley, but apparently not Mark Matlock. The texts were essentially the same propaganda that was in the mass mailers paid for by The Building Industry Political Action Committee. A close look at the texts also said, Paid For By The Building Industry Political Action Committee. This is the PAC sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville. If you call the number back, it says number is out of service or disconnected. I'd say disconnected is the appropriate phrase.

Just how much money do they plan to pour into this election? Why are they so motivated to defeat myself and other candidates? Of course, we all know the answer to that one, GREED and MONEY and they know Simpson and Hurley are just the ones to deliver Loudon County to them.

Here it is again, in your face. They plan to buy their way into Loudon County.

Voters, get to the polls. Vote against the big money and special interests intending to destroy Loudon County.

Vote Van Shaver to stop this.

Conservative Leader?
He is a follower not a leader. Name one conservative thing he's done as a city councilman?

Supports controlled growth?
Has voted for more than 2500 new residential units in the last year, mostly apartments.

Opposed to raising taxes on families and businesses?
Has voted for every tax increase a councilman can vote for including the Rain Tax on all Lenoir City families and businesses.

When the truth doesn't matter, you can say anything.
