Vietnam War lasted over 14 years.
Iraq War lasted nearly 9 years.
Afghanistan War still going over 12 years.

During World War II, the Germans launched Operation Pastorius. The operation was for six German saboteurs to secretly entered the United States on a mission to attack its civil infrastructure.

The plot was exposed by two of the saboteurs. All six were quickly caught and in less than 65 days, all six had been tried, found guilty of espionage and four were executed.

There are still over 150 "detainees" from the war on terror being held at Guantánamo Bay prison in Cuba. Some have been there since 2002.

So what happened? Our military is the greatest and strongest in the world. Unfortunately, our government and politiciations are the weakest they've ever been.
