So Far, So Good
| With all the bids in on the new school in Greenback,
the numbers are looking pretty good. The current construction cost
estimate for the new school was $22,500,000.00. The bids for the
construction of the new school total a little less than twenty-one
million dollars. That means as right now, we're better than a million
and a half under estimated cost. That's a good thing. But as with any construction project of this scale, it's always best to be cautiously optimistic. There are still a lot of variables that could increase or decrease the cost of the project. But for now, we'll just think positive and hope for the best. Good weather, not a lot of rock and that material costs don't go up. |
