Many have asked why it's seems to be taking so long. Truth is, I really don't know but I can tell you what I was told.

The project was originally scheduled to begin last May and take 8 months to finish. Unfortunately, while nearly all the utilities had been moved, AT&T had not relocated their overhead lines from the old poles to the new ones. When they finally got around to moving their lines, the company who had the contract to do the improvements had already started other projects in middle Tennessee.

Construction on the intersection actually started in October and if it's still an 8 month project, it should be done sometime in May. We can only hope.

However long the wait, it will be well worth it when it's done.
