Slick Roads Cause To Crash
| A rain slick roadway was the cause of a serious crash late Thursday
evening. The wreck occurred just passed the intersection of Town Creek
Road and Old Hwy. 95. The juvenile driver of the Olds Alero was
traveling toward the High School when she lost control of her vehicle on
the sharp curve at Town Creek. The car crossed the center line sliding
sideways. The Alero was struck broadside by a Dodge Nitro traveling
toward Lenoir City driven by 21 year old Ashley Proaps. Both occupants in the Alero and Ms. Proaps were transported to UT Hospital. All three suffered multiple injuries, none thought to be life threatening. |
