Several citizens have reported receiving calls from an unknown male claiming to be "Sergeant Wayne Brown from the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office". It is unknown what or how the male is going to scam victims.

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office does not have a "Sergeant Wayne Brown". If you receive a call that you suspect might not be legitimate or if you become the victim of a scam, please call our dispatch center at 865-458-9081 and speak to a patrol deputy.
