Saying Stupid Stuff 2
| Last week, I ran a story of Lenoir City councilman,
Eddie Simpson, attempting to bad mouth council woman, Robin McNabb. As I
explained, Simpson was caught on a hot mic moment. Many of you have
asked for more details of Simpson's statement. Better than try to
explain it, watching the video for yourself would be much better.
During a discussion of the council, newest council member, Robin McNabb, was simply asking questions and quickly admitted she was new to the council and was just trying to understand the topic. Apparently, McNabb must have asked too many questions for councilman Simpson. Leaning over to speak to City Treasurer, Jim Wilburn, thinking no one would hear him, he said "she's married to Van Shaver". McNabb responded. It is exciting to see someone on council willing to stand up to the council bullies. Below is a link to the city council meeting. The whole meeting was pretty entertaining.
