Rollover Crash
| Rain slick roads and poor visibility likely
contributed to this single vehicle rollover crash on Ford Road Wednesday
night. The driver and at least two children suffered injuries and were
transported to the hospital. None of the injuries were thought to be
life threatening.
The driver was trapped in the vehicle for some time until multiple Loudon County Rescue Squad members arrived on scene and quickly secured the vehicle and extracted the driver from the wreckage. The top of the Ford Explorer had to be completely removed. Ford Road near Town Creek Road was shut down for more than an hour while clean up crews removed the wreckage. |
