Ribbon Cutting
| You are cordially invited to a ribbon cutting/grand
opening of the new and improved Hwy.11 and Shaw Ferry Road intersection
Tuesday, June 7th 9:00 am. State and local officials will be on hand for
the ceremonies. It is also expected that TDOT officials will
announce the improvements coming for the Hwy. 11, Ford Road and Muddy
Creek intersection. Now, in an effort not to offend anyone, I would simply say I and I'm sure everyone in the community are very appreciative of the efforts of everyone who helped bring the Shaw Ferry improvements to completion. So if you're one of those folks who like to see politicians, I suspect come Tuesday morning you will be able to find more politicians at Shaw Ferry than you can shake a stick at. I just hope none of them get loose and wander out into the highway. Maybe a temporary sign should be put up up that says, SLOW |
