The new member selected by the Loudon County Republican Party Executive Committee to fill the vacated seat is Jim Davis. Davis paperwork has been filed with the state election commission. However it is unknown if his certification can be completed before Tuesday's planed meeting of the Loudon County Election Commission.

It was anticipated that at that meeting a new election coordinator would be appointed to replace Dana Zehner.
