vanshaver.com has been around now, in one form or another, for more than twelve years. Most of that time, the site has been dedicated to reporting on local news and events. As most well know, I also, from time to time, share my own view points on various issues.

I really have no problem with and actually welcome those I hear from who may respectfully disagree with my opinions. It's those who send me little snarky emails or who lie about me to others on their little social web sites that I don't understand. If you've got a problem with me, be man or woman enough to come out of the shadows to make your challenges.   

I know, there are those out there who really, really hate my web site but can you blame them? I've been threatened legally and physically for some of my stories. I've been belittled and ridiculed. But in all these years, I have yet to be proven wrong. I've put the challenge out there many times before and I'll say it one more time. You can take issue with what I write, you can disagree with my positions but the challenge is, prove me wrong.

I do appreciate all the support I receive from the vast majority and I will continue to do my best to keep you informed on as many issues as I can.
