Radio Shacks close in Knoxville, Lenoir City, Morristown

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Struggling electronics retailer RadioShack has filed for bankruptcy.

Friday the story released a list of 162 stores it plans on closing. As part up the bankruptcy the Forth Worth, Texas company could sell up to 2,400 stores.

In Knoxville stores RadioShack plans on closing include their location at struggling Knoxville Center Mall, West Town Shop Center, Turkey Creek, Merchant’s Corner, Crossroads Center, and Market Place Shop Center.

The RadioShack located at College Square Mall in Morristown will also close as well as one location in Lenoir City.

Stores in East Tennessee include:

    • Knoxville Market Place – 9335 Kingston Pike, Knoxville
    • West Town Shop Center – 7600 Kingston Pike, Knoxville
    • Crossroads Center – 7236 Norris Freeway, Knoxville
    • Pavillion at Turkey Creek – 10968 Parkside Drive, Knoxville
    • Knoxville Center Mall – 9352 Knoxville Center Drive, Knoxville
    • Merchant’s Corner – 5400 Clinton Highway, Knoxville
    • Lenoir City – 9331 Highway 321, Lenoir City
    • College Square Mall – 2550 E. Morris Boulivard
