The 'Lord's Prayer' will be read by the assembled participants. This assembly is not affiliated with any church or organization but was brought about by the concerns of citizens in the community who believe that prayer should remain a part of the Lenoir City School system and other local school systems. Local authorities were contacted to discuss the possible need for traffic assistance as we are anticipating a heavy turnout to support the pro-prayer movement. The community are wanting to
voice their side of what has seemed like an onslaught on values that
have been represented in the community for a long time. |
