Philly man caught stealing electricity

A Philadelphia man is facing theft charges after law enforcement learned he stole electricity from another residence.
After getting information from Loudon County Sheriff's Office Deputy Charlie Huskins that someone had broken into a home and was stealing power, LCSO Sgt. Michael Watkins talked with the homeowner.

“Deputy Huskins advised me that he had rolled the extension cord up and placed it on the property at 901 Nelson St.,” Watkins wrote in the report. “The homeowner ... stated that no one had permission to steal electricity or break in to her home.”

Watkins talked with Timothy Bryan Grissom, who said he plugged in a cord to take electricity without the homeowner’s permission.
Grissom, 42, was charged with burglary and theft of services and held on $11,000 bond.
