Philadelphia woman charged for selling part of TennCare prescription
NASHVILLE
(WATE) -- A Philadelphia woman is charged with TennCare fraud for
selling prescription drugs inspectors say she got through the
program.
Michele Grant, 40, was arrested in a joint effort by the Morgan County Sheriff's Office and the Loudon County Sheriff's Office. Grant was indicted on charges of getting a prescription for a pain patch called Fentanyl, using TennCare to partially pay for it and then selling part of it. TennCare fraud is a Class E felony. It carries a sentence of up to two years in prison. |
