One killed in I-75 accident in Loudon County One man was killed in a single car accident on I-75 in Loudon County on Wednesday. An accident report filed by the Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass was traveling south on the interstate near mile marker 76, when the car ran off the road and hit a tree around 3:22 pm. The driver, 20 year old Silas E. Parks, and a 17 year old passenger were both injured. Another passenger, 47 year old George E. Parks, Jr, was killed in the crash. All of the victims are listed as being from Lenoir City. None of them were wearing seat belts. The report says citations and/or criminal charges are pending. |
