Old Bones 2

Last week, human bones were discovered in an old shed on Martel Road. The finds consisted of the jaw bone and a few other small bone fragments.

After analysis by forensic specialists, the bones were determined of native American origin and dating to 800-1600 AD.

It appears the bones may have been collected by a previous property owner from 60-70 years ago.

The bones will be turned over to the state archeologists and will be deposited per tribal instructions.
