November Update

Looking at the Loudon City council race, you might think Loudon city officials had passed a Rain Tax. Jimmy Parks has picked up a petition for council. That brings the number to 9 who have picked up and/or filed qualifying petitions to seek a council seat.

In the Lenoir City race, Todd Kennedy has qualified to be on the ballot. With the passage of the Rain Tax last year and now trying to jack up the sales tax, you might think there would be more candidates in the Lenoir City race than the Loudon race. Maybe there will still be more to come.

Any candidate for any of the November races has till August 16th, noon to file their qualifying petitions.
