Student presenters will recognize our veterans. Our band will also recognize our Veterans by playing their Core Theme songs. If weather holds, we will be taking Veteran pictures in front of our Veteran Wall and we will mail these photos to them.  All Students will be present for this event. In the afternoon our high school students will participate with the US Army and US Navy simulators in our back parking lot.

Eaton Elementary School & North Middle School

North Middle and Eaton Elementary are planning a shared parade at 10:00am.  Veterans will be asked to stage in their cars starting in the parking lot at Central United Methodist Church next door.  A staff member will come over to start the parade route which will come behind NMS and in between the schools before exiting back out onto Hwy 321.  NMS and Eaton will also release separate virtual Veterans Day programs at 9:00am via our webpages and social media.

We will be having our Veteran's Day ceremony here at LHS beginning at 8:40. We will have Mike Kitchens from Smoky Mountain Service Dogs as our guest speaker. The ceremony will begin with veterans entering the auditorium from the lobby. We will also ask culinary arts to provide refreshments to the veterans in the main hall prior to the ceremony. NJROTC, band, and choir will also perform. The ceremony will last no longer than an hour.
