You may recall late last year several stories about some missing checks/money from the City Of Philadelphia. Ultimately, Mayor John Drinnon, resigned due to the issue but denied any wrong doing.
The state comptroller just released their report from their investigation which did exonerate the former mayor. Apparently a city employee helped herself to the funds. Below is the opening of the report. Just below that is a link to the full report.
