For
the third time in as many weeks, I was contacted my Loudon County voters
wanting to know how they could mount a recall election against General
Sessions Court Clerk, Lisa Niles. Apparently, there are a number of
folks that are really upset with the her lawsuit against the citizens of
Loudon County.Unfortunately, Loudon County nor the state have any provisions for a recall in Ms. Niles Case. There are a few limited instances in Tennessee where a recall can be instituted but not in our case.
It appears we're stuck with Ms. Niles till the next election which will not be till 2018. There's no telling just how much financial damage she will cause the county between now and then.
