No Raises?
| After a little urging from the commission budget committee, the
Loudon County school board voted Thursday night to remove their previous
request for a pay increase in next year's budget. There were also some
other changes in the original budget that were passed at the meeting. Last month, the board voted on a thirty-six million dollar plus budget for fiscal year 2013-2014. That budget included a $100 per month per board member raise. The newly adopted budget will now go back to the commission budget committee for further review. |
