No Liquor Vote
| Retired Lenoir City banker, Ed "Liquor" Bell failed
to meet the deadline to submit his petition to add the question of
liquor stores for Lenoir City to the November ballot.
Bell has been responsible for sponsoring several liquor referendums in recent local elections and had informed the election commission office of plans for a liquor store initiative for Lenoir City for the November election. The deadline to file the petition has now passed. |
